Dermal filler prices at our Newcastle clinic
Against those ranges, our own prices are:
- Lip filler: from £250
- Cheek filler: from £350
- Chin filler: from £350
- Jawline filler: from £450
- Under-eye filler: £515
- Non-surgical rhinoplasty and nose contouring: £515
- Neck refinement: from £175
- Full-face treatments: from £750
Your final price depends on how much product you need, which is why we confirm it at your treatment consultation rather than over the phone. Someone wanting subtle refinement in one area will pay considerably less than someone rebuilding structure across the whole face, and both are perfectly valid reasons to book.
A £100 deposit secures your appointment and comes off the treatment cost. We use Teoxane hyaluronic acid filler, and you can see the full range on our dermal fillers in Newcastle page.
Why the tear trough costs the most
It is the smallest area on the list and the most expensive, which catches people out.
The under-eye is thin-skinned, highly vascular and the least forgiving area on the face. It takes more experience to treat well, it carries more risk, and a poor result there is far more visible than a poor result almost anywhere else. What you are paying for is not more product. It is the judgement of someone who understands the facial anatomy underneath and knows when not to inject.
The same logic applies in reverse to nasolabial folds, which sit at the lower end of the range because the area is more forgiving.
What should be included in the price
Whatever you pay, and wherever you go, the figure should cover:
- A face-to-face consultation and full facial assessment before anything is injected
- An honest recommendation on how much you actually need, including less than you asked for
- Licensed, branded hyaluronic acid filler you can see the packaging of
- Treatment by a registered, experienced, insured practitioner
- A sterile clinical environment
- Hyaluronidase held on site, in case filler ever needs dissolving urgently
- Aftercare guidance, including what to expect for recovery time in your particular area
- A follow-up appointment once your filler has settled
The hyaluronidase point is the one almost nobody thinks to ask about, and it is the most important. Hyaluronidase is the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler, and it is the emergency treatment if filler ever compromises a blood vessel. We hold it on site. Not every clinic does.
The follow-up is worth asking about too. At Oracle, your treatment review is free. We look at how the filler has settled, talk through the result and make small adjustments if anything needs them. Plenty of clinics treat you once and never see you again, which means they never find out how their own work turned out.
What affects the cost
How much product you need
This is the biggest variable, and it is why nobody can quote you accurately over the phone. One millilitre restores noticeably less in a cheek than it does in a lip, and volume loss varies enormously between people of the same age.
The area being treated
Higher-risk and more technically demanding areas cost more, as the tear trough example above shows. Cheek contouring and facial contouring work through the mid-face also tend to use more product than a single fold or line, simply because you are rebuilding structure rather than filling a crease.
The product itself
Licensed, injectable dermal fillers from established manufacturers, bought through legitimate UK supply chains, cost a clinic considerably more than the alternatives sold online. Counterfeit product is a documented problem in the UK, and it is the part of your treatment you cannot assess by looking at it.
Who is injecting you
Experience is most of what you are buying. A practitioner who has treated thousands of faces knows when to stop, which is the skill that separates a natural result from an obvious one.
Whether it is correction work
Dissolving filler placed by someone else and rebuilding from there takes longer and costs more than starting from scratch. If that is your situation, say so when you enquire so you are quoted accurately.
Why the cheapest quote is rarely the best value
Filler is injected into your face by someone holding a needle near your blood vessels. In England, there is currently no law requiring that person to hold any qualification at all.
A very low price usually means something has been removed: assessment time, product quality, injector experience, or the safety net if something goes wrong.
The reassuring part is that hyaluronic acid filler is reversible. If a result is not what you wanted, it can be dissolved. That is a genuine safety net, but it is also a second appointment and a second fee, so it is cheaper to get it right first time.
What filler is not, at any price
Worth saying plainly, because it affects whether the cost is worth it to you.
Filler restores volume and rebuilds facial contours. It does not rebuild collagen, and it will not soften wrinkles caused by muscle movement, which is what Botox is for. If your face has lost structure, filler is the right budget. If your concern is skin quality or expression lines, you would be paying for the wrong thing, and any clinic worth its fee will tell you so before taking your money.
What it costs across a year
Filler does not need replacing on a fixed schedule the way Botox does. Longevity varies by area and product, typically six to twelve months for lips and twelve to eighteen months or longer for structural areas like cheeks and jawline.
That makes filler a slower recurring cost than it first appears. A cheek treatment at £350 holding for around eighteen months works out at roughly £230 a year. A lip treatment at £250 holding for nine months is closer to £330 a year, despite the lower headline price.
Areas that move more break filler down faster. It is worth factoring that into which treatment you choose rather than comparing single appointment prices, and worth asking at consultation when a top up treatment is likely to be needed rather than being surprised by it.
If you are considering full facial rejuvenation rather than one area, the maths changes again. Treating several areas in one appointment usually costs less than treating them separately, which is why our full-face prices start at £750 rather than adding up each area individually.
Book a consultation in Newcastle
The only accurate quote is one that follows an actual assessment, because how much you need is the single biggest factor in what you pay. That is true of most aesthetic treatments, and it is particularly true of filler.
Our Newcastle clinic is nurse-led, based at The Beverley Hospital on Fifth Avenue, Team Valley. Book a consultation with Nurse Ness Abbey and her team, and you will leave knowing exactly what your treatment involves and exactly what it costs, with no pressure to commit on the day.
